The Talking Bees Garden Grant supports schools, libraries, and community organizations, especially in the Austin, Texas area, in creating pollinator-friendly gardens that promote environmental education, hands-on learning, and biodiversity. It is presented by:
By awarding six grantees $1,000 per site, our goal is to cultivate a deeper understanding of the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystem while fostering community engagement and sustainability.
The grant includes
• On-site design consultation and planning
• Soil, native plants, and organic materials
• Pollinator-friendly planting blueprint
• Environmental education materials aligned with TEKS
• One Garden Day volunteer event
• Teacher/Librarian Toolkit
• Seasonal support through September 2026

Preference will be given to applicants serving communities with limited access to environmental education resources or pollinator awareness programs
